Personalizing a Favorite Stamp with an Important Event

The favorite stamp - issued May 14, 1938

Using First Day of Issue Cancel elements, a First Day of Life Cancel
was created with the event place, date and time.

Using a scan of a favorite stamp issued shortly before the event,
the special circular date cancel was overlaid.

Using the original stamp scan and PictWave freeware,
the eagle became animated.

Overlaying the special cancel on the animation frame gave the final result.
