| Sept. 18, 1892 - | First public meeting, with 25 in attendance voting to form a church and construct a building |
| Jan. 13, 1893 - | First church service, held in the public school with Rev. Thomas McGuire |
| Nov. 30, 1893 - | First service in new church building at Port Orchard (later renamed Charleston) |
| June 2, 1894 - | Articles of incorporation of the first Presbyterian Church of Port Orchard filed |
| March 2, 1902 - | Organized and chartered by the Presbyterian Church, with 18 charter members |
| Feb. 26, 1903 - | Port Orchard renamed to Charleston, and church became Charleston Presbyterian Church |
| March 14, 1923 - | First church building demolished in preparation for construction new building |
| Nov. 27, 1924 - | New church building dedicated with Rev. George W. Davis as minister |
| April 17, 1929 - | Renamed Summit Avenue Presbyterian Church, with Charleston part of Bremerton since 1927 |
| August 8, 1965 - | Last service in second building, with construction of third building completed |
| Nov. 1, 1992 - | Last service in third building, with construction of fourth (and current) building |
