John LOOMIS - bap. Jan. 29, 1562, Thaxted, England; d. 1619, Braintree, Essex. He was the son of John, and grandson of Thomas LOOMIS (d. 1551), who married Krystyne PASFIELD.

Agnes LYNWOOD - Daughter of John LYNWOOD and Jane MARLER. John (b. Braintree) was son of John LYNWOOD (b. Hereford), grandson of William LYNWOOD and Mary WILSON, and great-grandson of Geoffrey LYNWOOD and Elizabeth SIBTHROP, Elizabeth being the daughter of John SIBTHROP. Jane MARLER (b. 1530, Kelvedon) was the daughter of William MARLER (b. 1498, Kelvedon; d. 1595) and Jane CAPERTON. The ancestry of William is: Thomas MARLAR (b. 1478, Kelvedon; d. 1540) married Margaret WHITE (b. 1480, Kelvedon); William MARLAR (b. 1448, Kelvedon); John MARLER (b. 1414, Kelvedon; d. 1450) married Falstafe; John MARLER (b. 1374; d. 1419); and John MARLOR (d. 1389).

Joseph LOOMIS - b. about 1590, Braintree, Essex, England; d. Nov. 25, 1658, Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. Son of John LOOMIS and Agnes LYNWOOD. A 'woolen draper,' he arrived in Boston in the 'Susan and Ellen' in 1638, and settled at Windsor, CT in 1639. Married Jun. 30, 1614, Shalford, Essex, England.

Mary WHITE - bap. Aug. 24, 1590, Shalford, Essex, England; d. Aug. 23, 1652, CT. Daughter of Robert WHITE and Bridget ALGER.
