He married Sarah M. HAZARD, daughter of Joseph Hoxie HAZARD & Amey WILLIAMS. Born on 3 Mar 1818. Died on 15 Sep 1887 in Norwich, New London Co., CT. Buried on 18 Sep 1887 in Oneida Co., NY.

WOODRUFF - On Saturday last the remains of Mrs. SARAH WOODRUFF was brought to this place from her late home at Norwich, and the funeral services were held at the residence of her brother, D. W. Hazard. The interment took place in their family cemetery near by. In early life, and for many years she was a resident here, and all remember her as a kind friend and a sympathizing neighbor.
