Research: Family information is primarily from the 1900 census of Houston Township, Perry Co., AR, Household 213, next to Household 212 of sister Ella (LAWSON) VAUGHT. The names of the children are not sufficient to distinguish sons and daughters.

He married Pantha LOVELACE, abt 1884. Born in Sep 1866.

They had the following children:

In various places her name is found as Elizabeth Lota, Leotia, and Leota Elizabeth.

She married William N. WOMACK. Born abt 1860 in AR.

They had one child:
i.  Mary Frances. Born on 14 May 1888 in Perry Co., AR. Mary Frances died in Little Rock, Pulaski Co., AR, on 28 Aug 1967.

42. Ella Tennessee LAWSON (Amos B.3, Amos Banks2, Thomas1). Born in Mar 1869 in Perry Co., AR.

Ella T. Lawson is found at age 10 in Household 15 of the 1880 census of Perry Co., AR as niece of Amanda Brazil, age 25 and b. AL. It would appear that Amanda may be a much younger sister of Ella's mother Sarah J. BORRING) LAWSON, but this has not been confirmed. Also in the Household are Amanda's daughters Laura A., age 7, and Nettie J., age 2.

Research: Her first name appears as Eller in the 1870 census.

She married Edward VAUGHT, abt 1889. Born in Feb 1865 in MO.

The 1900 census of Houston Township, Perry Co., AR includes this family as Household 212, living next door to the family of Jefferson Lawson as Household 213.

They had the following children:
i.  Ola D.. Born in Apr 1890 in Perry Co., AR.
ii.  Herbert S.. Born in Feb 1893 in Perry Co., AR.
iii.  Burnick. Born in Jan 1895 in Perry Co., AR.
