Land records of Perry Co., AR include half a dozen transaction for Amos B. Lawson between 8 Oct 1856 and 23 Mar 1860, indicating the family probably moved to the county in 1856 or soon before. Amos and his family are found as Household 24 of the 1870 Perry Co., AR census.

Parents in 1860 census of Perry Co., AR with daughter Sarah J. All three children of Sarah were heirs to lands held by Katherine BORRING, deceased, in a document surviving the 1880 Perry Co. AR courthouse fire.
