Sunset Lane Cemetery adjoins Knights of Pythias Cemetery on the north. Pendelton-Gilchrist Funeral Home does not have records prior to about 1940, reportedly due to a fire. On 31 Aug 1999, cemetery was walked and the Horstman plot located, with marker found for August only. Photos taken on 1 Sep 1999. Plot is bordered by concrete curbing with monument centered on west side facing east. A simple footstone is marked A. H. Monument has a cross on top, with stylized harp and branches below. Base of monument has HORSTMAN on the reverse. Names and birth places of father and mother need verification in light of other errors. K. of P. Cemetery is Knights of Phythias Cemetery, aka Port Orchard Cemetery.
