NORTH TURNER Mrs Florence Amy Mason age 84 died Tuesday morning at her home here. Born June 27 1885 at North Turner the daughter of Varna and Martha Staples Keene. Aug 5, 1900 married Walter Mason who died several years ago. Lived on Howes Corner then Mill Hill Road where they raised 8 children. As a young girl she sang in the choir her mothers helped organize at North Turner Union Church. An avid reader of history and genealogy she had compiled many scrap books. Surviving are 4 sons Carroll and Kennard both of North Turner, and Arlene Ramsdell Lewiston, 34 grandchildren 32 great grandchildren two daughters Dorothy Chase and Christine Tully are deceased.
Note: The Mason genealogy has her mother's surname as Mitchell, with the difference not resolved.
