Mrs. Earle was the well-known author, Alice Morse Earle, and among her works was "The Sabbath in Puritan new England." She was a member of The National Society of Colonial Dames in the State of New York, through Capt. Hugh Mason, also a member of The American Historical Association.
She married Henry Earle, on 15 Apr 1874. Born Providence, R. I., on 24 Nov 1843. Died Brooklyn, N. Y., on 6 May 1906. Data from Mason.
