995. Alden Flint Mason (Moses6, John5, Moses4, Daniel3, John2, Hugh1). Born Gilead, Maine, on 24 May 1841. Died Lancaster, N. H., on 10 Jul 1919. Data from Mason.
Mr. Mason was a school teacher at Embden, Maine, in Canada and Jefferson, N. H. For two years after his marriage he resided at Jefferson, then moved to Bethel, Maine, in 1869, but returned to Jefferson in 1871 where he kept a store and farmed until 1895 when he moved to Lewiston, Maine, in order that his son might live at home while attending Bates College. In 1905 he moved to West Bethel and resided there until 1918 when he went to Lancaster, N. H.
He married Sarah A. Forbes, daughter of Leland Forbes & Harriet Woodward, on 14 Sep 1865 in West Bethel, Maine. Born Colebrook, N. H., on 25 Jan 1846. Died Lancaster, N. H., on 24 Oct 1921. Data from Mason.
