She married Hezekiah Grover Mason (990) , son of Artemas Mason (504) (12 Aug 1809-21 Aug 1893) & Betsy Bartlett (24 Dec 1808-2 Dec 1845), on 2 Jan 1861 in Norway, Maine. Born Mason, Maine, on 28 Mar 1835. Died Mason, Maine, on 19 Sep 1911. Residence: Mason, Maine. Data from Mason.

Mr. Mason served in the Civil War enlisting in 1863 as a private in the 7th Maine Battery. He spent most of the time in Virginia and participated in the Battles of the Wilderness, Cold Harbor, Petersburg and Spottsylvania, besides may smaller engagements. At Petersburg he was wounded and for two months was in the hospital at Washington, D. C. At the end of the war he returned to Mason and became actively engaged in farming. He was a member of Pleasant Valley Grange of West Bethel, and a charter member of Grand Army of the Republic, G. Brown Post, No. 84.
