634. Elijah Mason Jr. (Elijah5, Elias4, Joseph3, Joseph2, Hugh1). Born Preble, N. Y., on 16 Oct 1810. Died West Andover, Ohio, on 21 Mar 1897. Data from Mason.

Elijah Mason resided with his parents at Preble until about nineteen years of age. He went to gainesville in 1829 and moved to Conneaut Township, Pa., October 1834, where he remained for thirty years. April 1865 he moved to Decorah, remaining there fifteen years, 1880 to West Andover where he resided until his death. He was a school teacher, a man of great strength and rarely missed his daily walk.

He first married Almira E. Rowley, on 20 Mar 1834 in Gainesville, N. Y. Born on 22 Aug 1814. Died on 23 Dec 1857. Data from Mason.
