Lawrence S. Mason was a millwright and carpenter and bore title of Captain in the Militia.

Mr. Mason was a wheelwright, also proprietor of a line of stage coaches, and in his latter years, major of a battalion of militia. His name was on the March 19, 1831, list of the Incorporators of Dedham.

He married Mary Fales Sisson, daughter of Edward Sisson & Susanna Fales, on 9 Sep 1821 in Dedham, Mass. Born Milton, Mass., in 1804. Baptized Dedham, Mass., on 22 Mar 1822. Died Dedham, Mass., on 17 Jun 1885. Data from Mason.
