345. Asenath Mason (Ebenezer5, Jonas4, John3, John2, Hugh1). Born New Gloucester, Maine, on 4 Sep 1758. Died Turner, Maine, on 25 Dec 1833. Residence: Turner, Maine. Data from Mason.

Asenath Mason, through her mother, is a descendant of Richard Warren of the Mayflower, the line being Rebekah Winslow, Barnabas Winslow, Mercy Snow, Josiah Snow, ASbigail Warren, Richard Warren.

She married William Bradford, son of Ezekiel Bradford & Betsey Chandler, in 1776. Born on 9 Mar 1754. Died Turner, Maine, on 26 May 1828. Data from Mason.  

William Bradford was a farmer and lumber dealer and is a descendant of Gov. Bradford of the Mayflower.

346. John Mason (Ebenezer5, Jonas4, John3, John2, Hugh1). Born New Gloucester, Maine, on 3 Nov 1760. Died Casco Bay, Maine, on 22 Oct 1824. Buried Falmouth Cemetery. Residence: Falmouth, Maine. Served in the Revolutionary War. Data from Mason.

Drowned within sight of his home.
John Mason was a mariner and shipmaster. When married he gave his residence as North Yarmouth, Maine. On the Cumberland County Records at Portland, Maine, he is listed "of Falmouth, mariner, sold land at North Yarmouth, February 16, 1790," also "bought land at Falmouth, January 16, 1794," also "sold land at Falmouth, March 10, 1798."

He married Lucy Locke, daughter of John Locke & Susanna (Ring) York, on 28 Oct 1783 in Falmouth, Maine. Married by Rev. Ebenezer Williams of Falmouth. Born Falmouth, Maine, in 1758. Died Portland, Maine, on 23 Mar 1854. Buried Falmouth Cemetery. Data from Mason.

Lucy Locke is said to be a descendant of Capt. Myles Standish. Her mother, until she was ninety years old, rode several miles on horseback each Sunday to attend church.
Lucy Mason (widow) of Falmouth, is recorded as having "sold land there, July 29, 1829, April 25, 1831, January 13, 1832, and having bought land there, April 25, 1831."

347. Ebenezer Mason Jr. (Ebenezer5, Jonas4, John3, John2, Hugh1). Born New Gloucester, Maine, on 7 Mar 1763. Died Vienna, Maine, on 16 Jan 1847. Buried South Chesterville, Maine. Residence: Wayne, Leeds and Vienna, all in Maine. Served in the Revolutionary War. Data from Mason.

Ebenezer Mason Jr., was a Revolutionary War pensioner. "Ebenezer Mason Jr. Private, Capt. William Harris' detachment from Col. Pike's (Cumberland Co.) Regt.; detached September 27, 1779, discharged October 23, 1779, service 26 days, under direction of Committee of Falmouth, detachment detailed for defense of Falmouth agreeable to order of General Court of September 3, 1779."
