Resided at Branchville, Erie County, Penn., at one time, but in 1892 was living with his daughter, Mrs. Lucy V. Gray, at Waterford, same county, "totally blind and the last of his family."

He married Persis Amidon, daughter of Calvin Amidon, on 3 Jan 1840 in Chesterfield, N.Y. Born Plattsburg, N.Y., on 12 Jan 1816. Died McKean, Penn., on 22 May 1882.

He lived at Madrid, St. Lawrence County, N. Y., most of his life. She was still living in 1896 at Norwood, N. Y., at which time their three older sons, all railroad men, were living near Chicago, one being conductor on the Rock Island Railway.

1441 v.  Warren Seymour (1847-1911)

He second married Sarah Ann Edwards, in 1857 in Waukesha, Wis. Born on 20 Oct 1824. Died Bridgeman, Minn., on 6 Mar 1890. Buried Weston, Wis.

Death year possibly 1891. Sarah Ann's brother, known as Uncle Dolph Edwards, lived with his daughter, Alice M. Edwards for many years in Milwaukee. He was a gate tender for either the C.M.&St.P. or C.&N.W.RY. at North Avenue just west of the river. He died an old man. Alice then lived alone at different addresses in Milwaukee, and died in Milwaukee April 10, 1939. She was lame and not able to get about in later years.

In 1892 all living children were married and living in Somerville. It is claimed that one son died in Libbey Prison during the Civil War.
