Died in Civil War.

1282. Samuel Curtis Johnson (Phineas Miller8, Phineas7, Samuel6, Henry5, Isaac4, Isaac3, Isaac2, John1). Born Elyria, Ohio, on 24 Dec 1833. Died on 6 Dec 1919.

Lived at Racine. Wis. He was the manufacturer of Johnson's Floor Wax, founder of S. C. Johnson and Son, Racine, Wis. The world's first streamlined office building designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, famed architect, was built in Racine, Wis., in 1939, for the S. C. Johnson Floor Wax Co., which is now carried on by the grandsons of Samuel Curtis Johnson.
