He first married Joanna D. Rockwood, daughter of Nathan Rockwood & Joanna Day, on 4 Mar 1832. Born on 23 Jul 1804. Died on 6 Nov 1876.

Albert Smith. Born in Feb 1835. Son of Horatio Nalson Johnson, he was adopted by his uncle Abner Johnson.

He second married Laura P. Pont, daughter of Preston Pont & Hannah Cary, on 11 Feb 1877. Born on 15 Oct 1832.

		ii.	Frances Mehitable. Born on 15 May 1837. Lived unm. at Hingham, Mass.
		iii.	Henry Casper. Born on 30 May 1839. He married Marion W. Bowen, in Sep 1864.

Adopted nephew Albert Smith Johnson, son of Horatio Nelson, Johnson.

She married Charles Wilder, son of Ebenezer Wilder & Lucinda Sawyer, on 4 Oct 1843. Born Lancaster on 30 Jan 1816. Died on 23 Mar 1893.

They had the following children:
