She married Stephen Hubbard, son of John Earle Hubbard & Phebe Brainerd, on 21 Dec 1804. Born Haddam, Conn., on 8 Jan 1786. Died on 8 Jun 1853.

SML Comment: Descendant Betsy Johnson provided the following information in August 2002: Thaddeus Stebbins Johnson, b. 26 Jan 1789 in Middletown, CT and died 26 May 1833, St. Louis (...he died of cholera on his way down the Mississippi River....), married Jerusha B. Mellen in 1825. Jerusha was born 1800 in (Framingham ?) Mass. and died Apr 1879 in Laclede Co., Missouri. After Stebbins died, she married __?___ Holcomb, a cooper and distiller, who promptly died after their marriage. Jerusha B. Mellen was the daughter of Thomas Mellen and Experience Briggs. Thaddeus Stebbins Johnson and Jerusha B. Mellen had two children:
i) Tyler Wise "Rocla" Johnson, born 14 Feb 1830 in Wheeling, Virginia and died 8 Apr 1913 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; spent most of his life in West Plains, MO. He married Sarah Ann Griffith, b. 12 May 1836 in Surry Co., NC, and died 13 Nov 1915 in Broken Arrow, OK.

He married Hannah Bills, daughter of John Bills & Fanny Rogers, in 1818. Born on 9 Mar 1795. Died Steubenville, Ohio, on 29 Apr 1824.
