He first married Delight Smith, daughter of Thaddeus Smith & Deborah Sheldon, on 26 Feb 1845.

They had one child:
i.  Milton. Born on 12 Apr 1847. Died on 16 Apr 1865.

He second married Hannah Jones, daughter of Ezra Jones & Hannah Taylor, on 30 Oct 1861. Born Whitefield, Vt., on 3 Nov 1820. Died on 17 Feb 1897.

784. Hannah Johnson (Austin7, Levi6, Henry5, Isaac4, Isaac3, Isaac2, John1). Born in 1815.

They removed to Lake County, Ill. in 1855

She married Sherman Trumbull, son of Horace Trumbull & Dorothy Spear, on 7 Oct 1835.

They had the following children:

ii.  Laura. Born in 1838.
iii.  Horace. Born in 1839.
Died in service in Civil War.
iv.  Marietta. Born in 1849.

She married Holden Nelson, son of James Younglove Nelson & Ruth Sheldon, on 8 Jan 1846.

They had the following children:

He married Clara Dennison.
iii.  George F.. Born on 23 Dec 1848.
