380. Phineas Johnson (Samuel⁶, Henry⁵, Isaac⁴, Isaac³, Isaac², John¹). Born on 26 Feb 1768. Died Kishwaukee, Illinois, on 28 Aug 1840. Buried near Killbuck Creek.

Phineas appears to have lived at one time at Paris, Oneida Co., N.Y., where he purchased land Feb. 28 (or 26), 1797, being then called Paris. He later was a member of a Military Co., there. Evidently he returned to Connecticut, as at a sale of this land Jan. 13, 1804, he was living in Berlin. He continued to reside there until 1819, when he went to Carlisle, Ohio, where some of his relatives had already removed. He reached there Nov. 5, 1819. He was Justice of the Peace and kept an inn. In 1830 he opened a hotel at La Porte. About 1833 he, with his son William H., removed to Kishwaukee, Winnebago Co., Ill. His grave was leveled and secreted to prevent the Indians from finding it.

He first married Hannah Miller, daughter of Isaac Miller & Hannah Coe, on 25 May 1790. Born Middletown, Conn., on 3 Aug 1768. Died Carlisle, O., on 30 Apr 1826.

		iii.	Cornelia M.. Resided in Medina County, Ohio. Some time after 1847 removed to the State of Washington. She first married Ira Kimball, son of Abraham Kimball & Sarah Babbitt, on 11 Feb 1817 in Berlin, Conn. Born on 24 Nov 1791. She second married Dudley Griswold, in 1820 in Carlisle, Ohio. His was first marriage at Carlisle, Ohio.
		iv.	Samuel C.. Born in 1795. Died Berlin, Conn., on 24 Dec 1818.

381. Anna Johnson (Samuel⁶, Henry⁵, Isaac⁴, Isaac³, Isaac², John¹). Born on 31 Jan 1772. Died Carlisle, Ohio, on 25 Nov 1854. Buried La Porte, Ohio.

She married Asahel Allis Kelsey, son of Asahel Kelsey & Content Parsons, on 11 Dec 1793. Born Berlin, Conn., on 17 Jul 1758. Died on 28 Jan 1839. Buried La Porte, Ohio.

He married Betsey Spooner, on 3 Jan 1803. Born Heath, Mass., on 7 Feb 1779. Died in 1850.

She married William Webster, son of Stephen Webster & Ann McCloud, on 25 Aug 1800. Born West Hartford, Conn., on 20 Oct 1778. Died Carlisle, O., on 27 Oct 1844.

They had the following children:

		ii.	Amanda. Born Deerfield, N.Y., on 1 Oct 1803. She married Calvin W. Brooks, on 13 Nov 1828. Died Carlisle, O., on 25 Aug 1852. Died at age 47 yrs.
		iii.	Horace. Born Saratoga, N.Y., on 26 Feb 1806. Died on 27 Aug 1808.
		iv.	William. Born Florence, N.Y., on 20 Feb 1809. He married Catherine Phillips, daughter of Henry J. Phillips. Born Eaton, O., on 3 Jul 1813. Died on 23 Sep 1858.
		v.	Abigail. Born Berlin, Conn., on 17 Nov 1811. She married Levi Lee.
		vi.	Bethuel J.. Born Berlin, Conn., on 25 Feb 1815. He married Roxa Andrews.
