He was survived by wife Phebe W. and a son between 10 and 15 years. (Probably Ira A. born 1823, who was in Croyden in 1850, age 27 yrs., with wife Lucy M., age 25.)

He married Phebe W. Cole, on 30 Mar 1813.

		i.	Betsey Ann. Born on 19 Oct 1834. She married Edwin Sargeant, son of John Sargeant & Betsey Morrill, on 28 Feb 1856. Born on 9 Feb 1820. Died Grantham, N.H., on 19 Jan 1874.
		ii.	Joseph Bean. Born on 2 May 1837.
		iii.	Hannah A.. Born in 1840.
