175. Timothy Johnson (Isaac5, Isaac4, Isaac3, Isaac2, John1). Born Canaan, Conn., on 2 Jun 1729. Died on 29 Sep 1812.

He served in the Revolution in Charles Burrill's Company, 14th Regiment, from Canaan, Conn.

He married Mary Phelps, daughter of Timothy Phelps & Hannah Caulkins, on 5 Dec 1753. Born on 28 Dec 1731. Died on 20 May 1799.

They had the following children:
i.  Ebenezer. Born on 9 Aug 1754. Died on 21 Nov 1754.
ii.  Mary. Born on 26 Jul 1755. Died on 24 Oct 1755.
iii.  Thankful. Born on 22 Jul 1756. Died on 29 Jul 1756.
iv.  Jehiel. Baptized in Jun 1759.
v.  Ursula. Baptized on 23 Jun 1765. Died on 28 Mar 1788.

176. Asa Johnson (Isaac5, Isaac4, Isaac3, Isaac2, John1). Born on 15 Aug 1735.

Asa resided in Canaan, Conn., Williamstown, Mass., and Rutland, Ct. He served in the Revolution from Rutland. Chloe, his daughter, was the third white child born in Rutland.

He married Thankful Cowles, daughter of Benjamin Cowles & Hannah, on 28 Apr 1757 in Canaan, Conn. Born on 23 Feb 1738.

They had the following children:

177. Margaret Johnson (Isaac5, Isaac4, Isaac3, Isaac2, John1). Born on 18 Jul 1737. Baptized on 9 Mar 1772.

She married William Hugg, on 14 Jul 1756 in Canaan, Conn. Died on 10 Aug 1782.

Several of William's children went to Spencer, N. Y. In the family were six girls and five boys. William was married second on February 16, 1776 to Olive Fox.

They had the following children:

She married Daniel Harris Jr., son of Daniel Harris, on 23 Feb 1764 in Canaan, Conn.

They had one child:
i.  Lucy. Born Canaan, Conn., on 6 Apr 1765.
