154. Rhoda Johnson (Benjamin4, Isaac3, Humphrey2, John1). Born on 23 Nov 1743.

She married Winslow Richardson, son of Adam Richardson & Rebecca, on 24 Mar 1763. Born on 14 Dec 1737.

Resided at Haverhill and later at Whateley, Mass. He served in the Revolutionary War.

They had the following children:
i.  Benjamin. Born on 19 Feb 1764.
ii.  Ruth Holman. Born on 8 Nov 1765.
iii.  Susanna.

155. William Johnson (Benjamin4, Isaac3, Humphrey2, John1). Born on 17 Jan 1753. Died Hillsdale, N.Y., in Apr 1818.

After 1780 they went to Cummington and then to Cincinnati.

He married Jane Robinson, daughter of James Robinson & Jerisha Bartlett, on 8 Nov 1779. Born Plymouth, Mass., on 6 Aug 1763. Died Hillsdale, N.Y., on 7 Apr 1836.

Marriage day also given Nov. 6, 1779.

They had the following children:

She first married Arnold Truesdell, son of Thomas Truesdell & Hannah Collin, on 10 Sep 1820. Died Wilmington, Ohio, on 28 Mar 1835.
She second married Rev. Leonidas Lent Hamlin, son of Mark Hamlin & Roxanna Moses, in 1836. Born Burlington, Conn., on 10 May 1797. Died Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, on 23 Mar 1865.

In 1836 he was appointed Editor of the Western Christian Advocate, with Rev. Charles Elliott. In 1840 he was appointed Editor of the Ladies Magazine at Cincinnati, Ohio. In 1844 he was elected Bishop of the Methodist Episcopal Church, which office he held until 1852, when he resigned on account of ill health.
