She married Noah Smith, son of Samuel Smith & Joanna McLathlin, on 5 Oct 1723 in (int.). Born on 12 May 1698. Died Suffield bef 23 May 1749.

They had the following children:
i.  Elisha. Born on 4 Jul 1724.
Went to Tinmouth, Vt.


ii.  Daniel. Born on 2 Aug 1725.
Their son was Gov. of Vt.

He married Anna Kent, on 19 Nov 1748.


iii.  Martha. Born on 8 Dec 1728.
She married Isaac King.


iv.  Seth. Born on 26 Sep 1734. Died Norway, N.Y. (N.J.), on 7 Jun 1829.
Seth was a Lieutenant in the Revolution.


v.  Cephas. Born on 5 Aug 1736.
Went to Rutland, Vt.

He married Sarah Bulkley, on 5 Aug 1756.

After the births of their children, they removed to Dalton, Mass.

68. Elisha Johnson (John3, Humphrey2, John1). Born on 16 Jul 1724. Died on 17 Jan 1762.

SML Comment: It is believed that Elisha and Betty were also parents of Lawrence JOHNSON (1750-1822), husband of Grace HARRIS (1761-1850), but no conclusive documentation has been located. Lawrence and Grace were parents of Ira JOHNSON, Sr. (1789-1867) who married Polly DANIELS (1789-1861), and of seven other children.

He married Elizabeth Hopson, daughter of John Hopson & Lydia Kellogg, on 13 May 1753.
