John E. Boos in this envelope. Mr. Boos was a former
White House correspondent and past president of the White House
Correspondence Association
during the FDR years. He was a noted collector of political memorabilia
and prepared specialized
collections, including two of photos and press materials about
Mrs. Eleanor Roosevelt (1960).
